DESIGN FESTIVAL: ITS#10 SUPPORTED BY SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS |

Excitement reached fever pitch at ITS (International Talent Support) around the finals of the global ITS competition that took place 15–16 July in Trieste, Italy. Conceived by established creative minds, ITS works with big brands to gain work placements, exposure and opportunity for young design talent. Today, ITS is a global hub spanning fashion, accessories and photography.
This year, ITS’ tenth anniversary, jewelry is included as a competition category for the first time, thanks to the partnership with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, who provided the crystals for the finalists’ pieces. Having enjoyed zero recognition, support or mentoring prior to this, the 11 young jewelry design talents competing for the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Jewelry Award enjoyed the experience of having their work evaluated by a renowned jury at the two-day exhibition in July.

Drop into a thrilling world of high drama and sexy glamour and sneak a peek behind the scenes thanks to our film of the SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS photo-shoot for German Vogue. Gorgeous jewelry from the likes of Kanzi, Frangos Nikolas, Alberto Rodriguez, Martine Wester and Hubert Barrere, as well as exquisite designer collaboration pieces and items from the SWAROVSKI CRYSTALLIZED™ Collection are captured on video in all their theatrical glory, modeled by a dancing model moving to a haunting soundtrack. Swarovski has long had a tradition of nurturing new design talent and this initiative provides active support for the next generation of fashion talents in France through a design competition judged by some of the most renowned members of the fashion community. SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, the premium brand for the finest crystal elements manufactured by Swarovski, collaborated with ELLE magazine on its new project ELLE AIME LA MODE, and the award ceremony took place on May 5, 2011 at the Ministry of Culture in Paris. |

Since 2010, SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS has been conducting an outreach initiative to support and inspire jewelry manufacturers in Poland, including the provision of practical information on trends and brand management. To date, this has included a presence at the Amberif fair, followed by last Fall’s Art & Fashion Festival. Today, SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS is the ingredient of choice within the established Polish jewelry market. |

ASIA’S FASHION JEWELRY & ACCESSORIES FAIR BLAZES WITH SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS |

June this year saw the sixth consecutive occasion on which SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS exhibited at Asia’s Fashion Jewelry & Accessories Fair in Hong Kong, the biggest international annual event of its kind within the region’s industry. SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS’ presence took the form of the stunning ‘Holistic Platform’, ablaze with breathtaking arrays of shimmering crystals, stunningly creative examples of collaborative jewelry pieces from famous design partners, as well as a dazzling display of the new season’s trend themes and products. The Holistic Platform was a big success, and attracted huge crowds for all four days of the fair. |
